Introduction
Sequencer ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile and web applications for creating and managing yoga class sequences.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us:
- Account information: email address and password
- Profile information: name, profile photo, teaching preferences (class styles, experience level, preferred class length)
- Content you create: yoga sequences, class plans, poses, notes, and tags
We may also collect usage and device information through analytics tools to improve the app. This may include app usage patterns, screen views, and device type.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve Sequencer; to authenticate your account; to sync your data across devices; to personalize your experience; and to communicate with you about updates or support. Analytics help us understand how the app is used so we can fix issues and add features.
Third-Party Services
Sequencer uses third-party services that may process your data:
- Supabase: authentication and cloud database storage
- PostHog: product analytics (usage events, feature adoption)
- RevenueCat: subscription management for Sequencer Pro (your account ID and purchase status). Payments are processed by Apple or Google, and we do not receive your payment details
- Anthropic: AI processing for Sage (see "AI Features (Sage)" below)
These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. We recommend reviewing their policies for full details.
AI Features (Sage)
Sequencer Pro includes Sage, an AI assistant. When you ask Sage for something, or use Import, we send your request (including any text, photos, or documents you add to Import), and, if Personalize Sage is on, a summary of your saved sequences and classes and how you've edited Sage's past results, to Anthropic, our AI provider, so it can respond. Anthropic doesn't use this content to train its models. It deletes inputs and outputs from its systems within 30 days, except content flagged for policy violations or where the law requires longer retention.
We store a record of how you edit Sage's results (what Sage wrote and what you saved) in our database so Sage can learn your style. You can turn this off or clear it anytime in Settings, and it is deleted if you delete your account.
Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored securely in the cloud. We use industry standards to protect your information. Locally, the app may store preferences and cached data on your device for performance.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and associated data through the app or by contacting us. You may also opt out of analytics where supported.
Children's Privacy
Sequencer is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Sequencer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
